RUTLAND Soot Sweep® Soot Remover controls soot buildup in fireplaces, wood or coal stoves, and boilers. Using the provided 1 oz plastic scoop, add 1-2 scoops to a fire a few times per week to clean out existing soot and prevent further deposits from forming. Regular use increases both the safety and efficiency of a heating appliance.

Apply 1-2 scoops of Soot Remover with 1 oz. scoop provided to a hot bed of coals, then increase the fire and burn briskly for at least 30 minutes after applying. Repeat daily for stoves and fireplaces in continuous use. Stir ashes twice a day for best results.
